Common Issues & Troubleshooting
GoDaddy embeds are straightforward once the HTML section is in place. These are the two snags small-business owners hit most.
The HTML section looks empty while editing
Cause: The GoDaddy editor often shows a placeholder instead of rendering a live iframe inside the design view, so the section can look blank while you are building the page.
Fix: Use the Preview button to see the published result. The tool renders for real visitors even when the editor shows a placeholder. Always preview before assuming the embed failed.
The HTML option is missing from the section list
Cause: The free or entry GoDaddy plan restricts custom HTML, so the embed section does not appear in the add-section menu.
